These terms govern your use of Lume (“us”, “we”), an ambient audio tour product accessible at lume.travel. By purchasing a pass or using the Lume app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The product

A Lume pass grants you, for a defined validity window, access to location-aware audio narrations of points of interest within a chosen city. Activation starts the validity period; the period begins when you tap activate, not at the moment of purchase.

2. Pricing & currency

Prices are displayed in your selected currency, converted at the live exchange rate from the EUR baseline at the moment of checkout. The amount you see at checkout is the amount you are charged.

3. Activation & validity

Each pass has a validity window starting at activation (typically 24h, 48h, or 7 days depending on the tour). Activation is irreversible.

5. User conduct

You agree to use Lume responsibly, with attention to your physical surroundings. Lume is not a substitute for situational awareness. Cross streets carefully, respect private property, and follow local laws and customs.

6. Intellectual property

Audio narrations and translations are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Resale or rebroadcast is prohibited. Source data from OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia is used under their respective open licenses, with attribution.

7. Limitation of liability

Lume is provided “as is”. Historical claims, while researched and fact-checked, may contain errors. We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on the content.
