The city, lit around you.

Pick a city. Choose your landmarks — as many or as few as you like — and Lume builds the walk. The streets light up around you, narrated in your language by the time you reach each one.

$9.99 flat — the same price however many stops you pick. 12 hours of validity that start when you begin walking, not when you pay or activate.

Light up a city

You stopped here. The window above belonged to a poet, the year before they came for him.

A manifesto

A city is not a list of monuments, and not a route between two pins.
It is a conversation happening at a frequency you have not yet tuned. Lume is the dial.
Walk where you want. Tap when you choose. The streets begin to speak in the voice of the people who lived them — in any of thirty-two languages.

What Lume does

Not a tour. A city, unlocked.

Lume is a self-guided urban exploration platform — not an audio guide on rails. Four promises, in any city we light.

The walk

Pick a city. Pick your stops. Walk.

One flat price, your own landmarks, your own pace. Twelve hours on the clock — that starts when you're ready.

  1. 01

    Pick your city

Browse the atlas. Buy the city for a flat price — same whether you'll pick 4 or 15 stops, no upsell, no add-on.

  2. 02

    Pick your landmarks

Open the picker — every researched landmark of the city, each with a star rating. Take as many as you like; Lume plots the optimal walking route and how long it'll take.

  3. 03

    Activate and prepare

Tap activate to choose your stops and download them — even on hotel wifi. Your 12 hours only start when you begin walking, so you can set it all up in advance.

  4. 04

Walk. The audio comes to you.

Keep the screen on as you walk. As you reach each landmark the narration starts on its own — a buzz, then the voice, a few minutes of sourced history. Locking the phone pauses the auto-start; a tap always plays a stop. Then on to the next.

Begin where you
are standing.

Pick your city. Set your time. Walk out the door. The streets remember everything — they're just waiting for someone to ask.
